Mark Shaw
We would like to introduce you to our Program Coordinator, Mark Shaw, who started working for your LPOA in May 2018. Mark and his wife have been residents of Lakewood since 1999. He grew up in Wisconsin and graduated college with a degree in Wildlife/Biology. After college, he worked in the wildlife field for 35 years. He has worked in Missouri, Wisconsin, Florida, Alabama, and Arkansas. He and his wife, Andrea, whom he met while working in Florida, have 1 child, Samantha. She grew up in the Lakewood neighborhood, attended school in the NLR School District, and is completing her degree at U of A- Fayetteville. The Shaw’s have a 6 month old chocolate lab named Aubrey Pearl and a 14 year old yellow lab named Caddie.. During his down time Mark loves to work outside on his yard and gardens. He also enjoys putting up “a few” lights in their yard for the neighborhood residents to enjoy during the Halloween and Christmas season.
Mark and Andrea both agree that the Lakewood neighborhood is an awesome place to raise children with great nearby schools and businesses, beautiful scenery that includes lakes, parks, and recreational sport opportunities. They joined the LPOA almost 23 years ago and have enjoyed the benefits their LPOA membership offers. Mark looks forward to working with the LPOA Staff and the Lakewood residents to keep the Lakewood neighborhood and the LPOA thriving for future generations to enjoy.
