Located in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Lakewood is a special place to live. It is differentiated from other residential developments by its rich history, abundance of natural amenities and wealth of recreational opportunities. There is a definite sense of community among the area’s residents and a strong commitment to maintain the area’s character and desirable living environment.

Lakewood is an area of approximately 1500 acres and has six lakes that flow from north to south. The majority of Lakewood’s facilities, other than its lakes, are located in McGee Park. The park is the major recreational facility and presently serves team sports that draw from outside the Lakewood area. The park contains a large swimming pool and several lighted sports fields. The park is intended to serve Lakewood’s extensive youth recreational programs.

1. Christopher “Evan” Blake
LPOA Executive Director

Hello LPOA members,

For those of you who don’t know me my name is Evan Blake. I have been with the LPOA since May of 2011. I come from a big family and my time at the LPOA has only made my family bigger. I cherish the relationships I have made at LPOA. I have had the opportunity to wear many hats at Lakewood. I started out working maintenance and have done everything from coaching soccer, refereeing soccer, umpiring baseball, assigning referees for our soccer league, and annual soccer tournament, many other odd jobs along the way. I am a born and raised North Little Rock kid. I attended elementary school at Immaculate Conception, high school at Catholic High School, and college at Christian Brothers and UALR. I have an amazing wife named Erica, two children (Miles and Kensley),  four cats (Mogli, Dobby, Sebastian, Hiccup), and two dogs (Nala, Lilo). My wife and I have been together for 12 years and married almost 5. We met in Lakewood and look forward to raising our family in Lakewood. I love coaching soccer, working with kids, all things Disney, Harry Potter, The Razorbacks, and spending time with my 6 nieces and nephews. I have big plans for Lakewood and I am very grateful to lead and represent such a wonderful place. I look forward to upholding the legacy of Lakewood and meeting more of its wonderful neighbors.
